1. The president of Indian Pranab Mukherjee launched National Mission On Libraries (NML) with the efforts of Union Ministry Of Culture on 3rd February 2014.
The mission has been launched in a digital way so that every one can have access to those treasure of Indian libraries.

scholars, teachers, researcher etc can access to the national mission on libraries (NML) but common man can also have a access and people who belong from disadvantage group of socially, economically, physically can also receive this endless treasure thorough National Mission On Libraries (NML).
The National Virtual Library of India (NVLI) is one the biggest program of National Mission on libraries, In National Virtual Library of India (NVLI) government of India will provide all knowledge resources on different languages and in a optimized digital way. So that every one can read it, download it and share it at all level.

2. Philip Seymour Hoffman, the Oscar-winning American actor died on 2 February 2014 at his flat in New York at the age of 46.
Hoffman has three children - daughters Tallulah and Willa (born in 2006 and 2008) and son Cooper (born in 2003) - with costume designer Mimi O'Donnell.

Highlights of bilateral treaty :
- Facilitate the re-export of goods imported to Nepal for fairs and exhibitions.
- Facilitate re-export of third country origin capital goods from Nepal for repair and return as well as re-export of rejected goods from Nepal.
- Facilitate Nepalese businesses as it will lead to re-export of goods imported from third countries after value addition, for which a legal provision was made in Finance Act of 2009.
- Allow the movement of diplomatic cargo exported from Nepal and transiting through India.
5. Wentworth Estate of Harrison Malayalam Limited located in Nilagiris district has become the first tea estate in India to be verified under the India sustainable tea programme which assigns the Trusttea logo to certified tea estate.
6. Maharashtra government rolled out “Jeevan Amrut Yojana” (blood-on-call-scheme) across the state. The ambitious plan said to be first-of-its-kind in the country, is aimed at facilitating blood supply to patients scheduled to undergo surgeries and medical procedures, at cheaper rate by dialling a dedicated helpline number 104.
